About Webinars

Who should attend? We welcome musicians that are interested in a live and interactive experience, learning more about how music can assist in the healing process. The webinars are carefully chosen for their rich content that contribute to the quality of life of those injured, sick, and dying, through advancement of skills and methodology of the musician.

Optional CEU Credit
Continuing Educational Units are honored by programs accredited through the National Standards Board for Therapeutic Musicians using the seated hours standard of measurement. (List of pre-approved programs) Participants must be in attendance during the live presentation to receive CEU credit, or submit a report confirming the study. CEU credit ranges from 2-4 CEU's per webinar. To request a Certificate of Attendance please click Administration, and include the title and date of webinar attended.

What You Get
At the Healing Musician’s Center we pride ourselves in delivering the “next best thing to being there” type of live online workshop. Webinars are created to simulate an on-site live, workshop by including in the delivery process as much audio, experiential, and resources for continuing thought and networking opportunities as possible, with the outcome being a rich and unprecedented experience for participants.

All webinars are private and include login codes to access the live-interactive session and the webinar page of the webinar for its duration, which includes downloadable handouts, and audio of the presentation (participants must attend the live presentation to receive the recording). To further enhance the webinar experience, each webinar comes with a blog where participants can rehash the webinar, exchange ideas, and network. Consider the blog the "social time" after an on-site workshop.

Technical Requirements
Today's technology makes it easy to communicate around the world using Skype (VOIP) and traditional communication channels. Before registering for a webinar, it's very important that participants go to the technical requirement's page to learn what technical equipment and software is acceptable in order to have a smooth and relaxed webinar experience. We expect participants to know how to access and maintain their computer and telephone communications devices, and to make sure they are in good working order before and during the webinar. Although we are not able to give technical support on your equipment, we can tell you what devices and software are necessary to participate. If you still have questions after reading the technical requirements please contact us. We'll do our best to help you.
